Hey there,

 

My name is Audrey Fecteau. I am an artist and graphic designer from Atlanta, Georgia. I went to school at Georgia State University and graduated in 2023, earning my bachelor of fine arts in graphic design from Ernest G. Welch School of Art and Design. 

 

I have always had a passion for art. Growing up in a creative family, my parents always urged me to explore my passions. I have been drawing from the time I could hold a pencil and, as you could imagine, my artistic repertoire has only expanded from there. Throughout my childhood, I was always the kid getting in trouble for filling the margins of all my papers with doodles and I was definitely the girl who wouldn’t stop drawing eyes everywhere. If only they could see me now. 

 

My years in college not only refined my art skills, but also allowed me to broaden my horizon by learning new programs and techniques. I was able to explore my creativity alongside some talented artists and create some amazing things. This is where I grew a love for graphic design. 

 

In my eyes, design is a puzzle. I love finding new ways to do things and working my way around problems, often finding an even better solution along the way. It’s exciting to see an idea get closer and closer to reality with each version. This aspect of graphic design has brought out my passion for package design, print, and use of mixed media. I love exploring different artistic processes and blending physical and digital mediums to find the perfect visual language for a design.
